Yitzchok is the Ashkenazi pronunciation of the Hebrew Yitzchak, the original form of Isaac, which means "he will laugh" and recalls Sarah's laughter at the promise of a son in her old age. The spelling is used almost exclusively in Orthodox Jewish communities, where names from the Torah are passed down through families. Yitzchok climbed from number 1221 in 2015 to the top 1000 in 2024 and reached number 911 in 2025, its best rank so far.
