Ailanys is a brand-new coinage from Spanish-speaking families, an extension of Ailany with a final s in the style of Yarelis and Analis. Ailany in turn is usually linked to the Hawaiian Ailani, "high chief", though it is really a modern sound-alike name. Ailanys first appeared in the US statistics in 2024 at number 4209 and has already climbed to number 2411 in 2025.
