Aylin is a Turkish name meaning "moon halo" or "of the moon", from ay, the Turkish word for moon. It is popular in Turkey and in Turkish families across Europe, and in the United States it is mostly used by Hispanic parents, where it is sometimes read as a form of Eileen. Aylin entered the US top 1000 in 2004 and reached number 345 in 2025, its best rank so far.
