Yeshua is the Hebrew and Aramaic form of the name of Jesus, a shortened form of Yehoshua or Joshua, and means "God is salvation". Some Christian families choose it to honor the name Jesus in its original form, and it is also used among Messianic Jews. In the United States Yeshua rose from number 1451 in 2015 to number 985 in 2024, its first year in the top 1000, and ranks number 1007 in 2025.
