Rosalina is an elaborated form of Rosa and Rosalind and is usually read as "rose" or "little rose", from the Latin rosa. The spelling with -lina is common in Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking families, and the name has an old-fashioned, flowery sound that fits the current taste for Rosalie and Rosalind. In the United States Rosalina entered the top 1000 in 2022, climbed quickly and reached number 681 in 2025, its highest rank so far.
