Ozias is the Greek and Latin form of the Hebrew Uzziah, the name of a king of Judah in the Old Testament, and means "my strength is Yahweh" or "God is my strength". It is one of the rediscovered biblical names of the 2020s, following Ezra, Josiah and Ezekiel, and it offers the cool nickname Oz. Ozias was almost unused in 2000, ranked number 2425 in 2015, entered the US top 1000 in 2024 and reached number 708 in 2025, its best rank so far.
