Kasen is a modern American coinage, a respelling of Kason or Cason that follows the popular "Kay-" sound and the -en ending of Jayden and Mason. It has no traditional meaning of its own, though it is sometimes linked to the Danish name Karsten, a form of Christian, "follower of Christ". Kasen entered the US top 1000 in 2006, peaked at number 419 in 2019 and ranks number 484 in 2025.
