Helios is the Greek word for the "sun" and the name of the Titan who drove the sun chariot across the sky each day in Greek mythology. It joins the recent wave of mythological boys' names such as Apollo, Atlas and Orion, with a warm, radiant image. In the United States Helios has climbed from number 4607 in 2015 to number 2367 in 2025, its best rank so far.
