Yuliana is the Spanish and Russian spelling of Juliana, the feminine form of Julian, which goes back to the Roman family name Julius and is usually explained as "youthful" or "downy-bearded". In Mexico and Colombia the y spelling is common, and that is where most American Yulianas have their roots. The name entered the US top 1000 at number 691 in 2001, dropped out in the 2010s and ranks number 1560 in 2025.
