Vittoria is the Italian form of Victoria and means "victory", from the Latin victoria, the name of the Roman goddess of triumph. The Renaissance poet Vittoria Colonna, a friend of Michelangelo, is its most celebrated bearer. In the United States Vittoria is a rare Italian heritage choice that has moved from number 3759 in 2015 to number 2671 in 2023 and ranks 2817 among girls in 2025.
