Theodoro is a Romance spelling of Theodore, from the Greek Theodoros, "gift of God". The usual Spanish, Portuguese and Italian form is Teodoro; the version with th appears mainly in the United States as a blend of that form with English Theodore. It has been climbing along with Theodore itself: from number 13990 in 2016 to number 4184 in 2024 and number 2934 in 2025, its best rank yet.
