Micah is Hebrew and means "who is like God?", a shortened form of Mikhayahu, which carries the same rhetorical question as the name Michael. The prophet Micah gave his name to one of the books of the Old Testament. Micah ranked number 186 in 2000 and around number 105 for most of the past decade, entered the top 100 in 2022 and stands at number 90 in 2025.
