Levi is a Hebrew name meaning "joined" or "attached", the third son of Jacob and the ancestor of the priestly tribe of Levites. In the United States the name is tied to Levi Strauss and his blue jeans, which did not stop it from feeling fresh again. Levi rose from number 172 in 2000 into the top 100 in 2009 and has held twelfth place every year since 2021.
