Konnor is a spelling of Connor, the Irish Conchobhar, usually explained as "lover of hounds" or "lover of wolves"; Conchobar mac Nessa was a legendary king of Ulster. The K-spelling arrived when Connor itself was near its peak and gives the name a Scandinavian look. Konnor ranked number 1102 in 2000, entered the top 1000 in 2003 and peaked at number 812 in 2010, then slid out of the top 1000 in 2019 and stands at number 2553 in 2025.
