Konner is a spelling variant of Connor, the Irish Conchobhar, which is usually explained as "lover of hounds" or "wolf lover" and belonged to a legendary king of Ulster. The k spelling followed Connor's rise in the 1990s. Konner entered the top 1000 in 2003 and peaked at number 729 in 2009; it has since fallen out of the top 1000 and stands at number 2961 in 2025.
