Juni is the Scandinavian and German word for the month of "June", which takes its name from Juno, the Roman queen of the gods; as a given name it is used in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, and in English it works as a cute short form of June or Juniper. In the United States it has caught on only recently along with other vintage month names. Juni climbed from number 13683 in 2015 to number 2498 in 2025, its best rank so far, with 71 births.
