Julietta is an elaborated form of Juliet and the Spanish Julieta, which are diminutives of Julia, the feminine of the Roman family name Julius, usually explained as "youthful" or "downy-bearded". Shakespeare's Juliet gives every version of the name its romantic glow. Julietta has climbed from number 1688 in 2015, entered the US top 1000 in 2024 and reached number 819 in 2025, its best rank so far.
