Jazmyn is an American spelling of Jasmine, the flower name that comes from the Persian yasamin and means "jasmine flower". The spelling with z and y took off in the 1990s, when the Disney princess Jasmine made every version of the name popular. Jazmyn was in the US top 1000 at number 665 in 2000, peaked at number 597 in 2005 and has declined with the rest of the Jasmine family since, ranking number 2247 in 2025.
