Jaydon is a spelling variant of Jayden, which traces back to the rare biblical Jadon, a Hebrew name usually explained as "he will judge" or "thankful". Its modern popularity owes less to the Bible than to the sound of Jaden and Aiden, which swept the United States in the 2000s. Jaydon was a top 1000 name from 2000 and peaked at number 414 in 2007, but has slid since, standing at number 2218 in 2025 with 64 births.
