Jaden is a modern American name that rhymes with Aiden and Braden; it is sometimes traced to the biblical Jadon, a minor figure in the Book of Nehemiah whose name is read as "thankful" or "he will judge". Will Smith's son Jaden, born in 1998, gave the name a celebrity push just as it was taking off. Jaden entered the US top 100 in 2002, peaked at number 74 in 2007 and has fallen to number 421 in 2025.
