Honesty is an English virtue name that means "truthfulness" or "integrity", from the Latin honestas, and it is also the name of a garden plant with silvery seed pods. Virtue names were a Puritan tradition, and Honesty joined the modern revival alongside Destiny, Serenity and Trinity. Honesty peaked at number 1012 in the United States in 2019, just outside the top 1000, and stands at number 1614 in 2025.
