Harmonie is the French spelling of Harmony, from the Greek harmonia, and means "harmony" or "agreement"; in Greek myth Harmonia was the daughter of Ares and Aphrodite and the goddess of concord. The -ie ending gives the familiar virtue name a softer, more elaborate look. Harmonie ranked number 5375 in 2000, rose with Harmony's revival to a peak of number 1582 in 2015 and has eased to number 2466 in 2025 with 72 girls.
