Georgina is a feminine form of George, which comes from the Greek georgos and means "farmer" or "earth worker". It has been used in Britain since the 18th century, when the Georgian kings made the name fashionable, and it remains a classic in England and Spain. In the United States Georgina ranked number 1384 in 2000, entered the top 1000 in 2022 with the comeback of Georgia and ranks number 689 in 2025, close to its peak of number 656 in 2024.
