Eliam is a Hebrew name from the Old Testament, where Eliam is the father of Bathsheba, and is usually explained as "God is my people" or "people of God". For many American parents it also works as a blend of two favorites, Eli and Liam, and it has grown fast in Spanish-speaking families. Eliam only entered the US top 1000 in 2021 and has climbed from number 1670 in 2015 to 381 in 2024 and 313 in 2025.
