Danilo is the Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and South Slavic form of Daniel, the Hebrew name meaning "God is my judge". It is especially common in Brazil, Serbia and Montenegro, and in the United States it is used mainly in Latino and Filipino families. Danilo stood at number 1854 in 2000, peaked at number 1010 in 2017 and has stayed between number 1010 and 1320 ever since, ranking number 1316 in 2025.
