Azariyah is a modern spelling of Azariah, a Hebrew name borne by several men in the Old Testament that means "Yahweh has helped" or "God has helped". In the United States the -iyah ending has made the biblical name a girls' favorite, in the mold of Zariyah and Aaliyah. Azariyah has risen from number 3605 in 2015 to number 2198 in 2025, its best rank so far, with 84 births.
