Zahari is the Bulgarian form of Zachary and also a modern American spelling of the name, which goes back to the Hebrew Zechariah and means "God remembers". In the United States it sits among the Z-names such as Zakari and Zaire that have gained ground in the 2020s. Zahari has jumped from number 6673 in 2015 to number 2303 in 2025, its best US rank so far.
