Tiffany is the medieval English form of Theophania, the Greek name for the Epiphany that means "manifestation of God", once given to girls born on January 6. The New York jeweler Tiffany & Co. and the film Breakfast at Tiffany's turned it into a glamorous first name, and it was a top 20 choice in the 1980s. Tiffany was still number 101 in 2000 and has fallen steadily to number 880 among girls in 2025.
