Rivka is the Hebrew form of Rebecca, the matriarch who married Isaac and became the mother of Jacob and Esau; its meaning is uncertain and most often explained as "to tie" or "to bind", in the sense of a captivating beauty. It is a traditional choice in Orthodox Jewish families, where it is pronounced RIV-kah. Rivka entered the US top 1000 in 2013 and reached number 629 in 2025, its best rank so far.
