Nashly is a modern coinage used mainly in Hispanic American families, apparently built from the fashionable sound of Nash and the ending of Ashly or Ashley, which goes back to the Old English for "ash tree meadow". It has no traditional meaning and is best described as a "sound blend" of its two parts. Nashly rose from number 5084 in 2015 to number 1454 in 2024 and ranks number 1508 in 2025.
