Maylee is a modern American blend of May and Lee; May is the month named for the Roman goddess Maia and is also a pet form of Mary, so the name carries a light association with "springtime". It belongs to the same family as Kaylee, Hailey and Everlee. In the United States Maylee entered the top 1000 in 2016 at number 990, its peak, and has hovered just outside since, ranking number 1023 in 2025.
