Manolo is the Spanish pet form of Manuel, which comes from the Hebrew Immanuel and means "God is with us". In Spain it is a familiar everyday name, carried by figures such as shoe designer Manolo Blahnik, and in the US it is used mostly in Hispanic families. Manolo has always been rare here; it climbed from number 6649 in 2000 to number 1534 in 2025, its best rank to date.
