Kaziah is a modern spelling of Keziah, the Hebrew name of one of Job's three daughters, and means "cassia", a fragrant spice tree related to cinnamon. The K-z spelling gives the biblical name a contemporary look that fits names such as Zariah and Kaliyah. In the United States Kaziah has risen sharply from around number 7000 a decade ago to number 2838 in 2025, its highest rank so far.
