Keziah is a Hebrew name that means "cassia", the fragrant spice tree related to cinnamon. In the Book of Job it is the name of the second of the three beautiful daughters born to Job after his trials, and the Puritans carried it to colonial New England, where it was common in the 17th and 18th centuries. Keziah entered the US top 1000 in 2024 and ranks number 767 in 2025, its best rank in generations.
