Jermani is a modern American name that respells Germany or the French Germain as a girl's name with the fashionable -i ending of Armani and Imani. Through Germain it goes back to the Latin germanus, "brother" or "of the same stock", but most parents choose it for its sound and its echo of Jermaine. Jermani has risen from number 4647 in 2015 to number 1823 in 2025, its highest rank on record.
