Eisley is a modern American name with no inherited meaning; parents usually hear Isla, "island", and Paisley in it. It became known through the Texas rock band Eisley, which took its name from Mos Eisley, the desert spaceport in Star Wars, and the actress India Eisley. Eisley was too rare to be recorded in 2000; it peaked at number 1225 in 2017 and has eased down since, ranking number 2280 among US girls in 2025.
