Devora is a form of Deborah closer to the Hebrew Dvora, meaning "bee", the name of the prophetess and judge whose song of victory is one of the oldest texts in the Bible. This spelling is used mainly in Orthodox Jewish families and in Spanish-speaking countries. Devora has risen slowly from about number 2790 in 2015 to number 2068 in 2025, its best rank so far.
