Calla is a flower name, taken from the calla lily, whose botanical name comes from the Greek kallos and means "beauty". It offers a less common alternative to Lily with the same elegant, white-petaled image. In the United States Calla has never been in the top 1000; it ranked number 2599 in 2000, peaked at number 1322 in 2017 and stands at number 1397 in 2025.
