Asaiah is a Hebrew name that means "God has made" or "Yahweh has made"; it belongs to several minor figures in the Old Testament, including a servant of King Josiah. American parents have rediscovered it as a fresh alternative to Isaiah and Josiah with the same prophetic ending. Asaiah entered the US top 1000 in 2022 and has climbed steadily to number 773 in 2025, its best rank so far.
