Amirion is a modern American coinage that extends Amir, the Arabic word for "prince" or "commander", with the -ion ending heard in Jamarion and Damarion. It has no historical bearers and lives entirely on its rhythm and its royal first syllable. The name has climbed sharply in just a few years, from number 4576 in 2022 to number 1191 in 2025, its highest rank to date.
