Zayden is a modern American name that joins the Arabic Zayd, "growth" or "abundance", to the -ayden ending of Aiden, Jayden and Kayden; for most parents the fresh Z sound is the point. It arrived with that rhyming wave in the mid-2000s and has outlasted several of its cousins. Zayden entered the US top 1000 in 2006, peaked at number 184 in 2016 and has held close to number 200 ever since, ranking number 214 in 2025.
