Zaliyah is a modern American coinage that gives Aaliyah, Arabic for "exalted", a fashionable Z at the front, in the same way Zaniyah and Zariyah were formed. It has no history outside the United States and was not recorded at all in 2000. Zaliyah sat around number 3000 for most of the 2010s, improved to number 2217 in 2024 and jumped to number 1340 in 2025, its highest rank yet.
