Yaneli is a modern Hispanic-American name of uncertain origin, usually explained as a variant of Nayeli, which comes from the Zapotec language of Mexico and means "I love you"; it is also read as a blend of Yanet and the ending -eli. It is used almost entirely by Latino families in the United States. Yaneli dipped to number 1998 in 2019 and has since climbed to number 1206 in 2025, its best rank on record.
