Xolani is a Zulu and Xhosa name from the verb xola, to be at peace or to forgive, and means "peace" or "please forgive"; the x stands for a click sound in the original languages. In South Africa it is traditionally a boys' name, but in the United States it has been adopted mainly for girls. Xolani was unrecorded here in 2000 and has climbed from number 7992 in 2015 to number 1124 in 2025, its best rank so far.
