Wrynlee is a very recent American coinage that gives Brynlee and Wrenley a new spelling with the eye-catching silent W of Wren, the English name of the small songbird, so it is best described as a "Wren-style blend" rather than a name with an old meaning. It first appeared in the records in 2019 at number 17863 and has risen every year since, reaching number 2893 in 2025, its best rank so far, with 59 births.
