Rexton is a modern American name that gives Rex, the Latin word for "king", the surname-style -ton ending of Paxton and Braxton. It is a rare choice that was very uncommon at number 4153 in 2015 and number 3875 in 2024, then jumped to number 1971 in 2025, its best rank so far, as parents look for fresh alternatives to the crowded -ton names.
