Rayna has more than one source: it is the Bulgarian form of Regina, "queen", and also a Yiddish name, Reina, that means "pure" or "clean". In Spanish it echoes reina, again "queen". Rayna ranked number 992 in 2000, climbed into the 600s and 700s during the 2010s, peaked at number 651 in 2019 and ranks number 796 in 2025.
