Raven is an English word name for the glossy black "raven", from the Old English hræfn, a bird of intelligence and mystery in Norse myth and in Poe's famous poem. Actress Raven-Symoné and her Disney show That's So Raven made it familiar to a generation of American kids. Raven peaked at number 215 in 2000 and has mostly ranked in the 400s since, standing at number 404 in 2025.
