Raheem is an English spelling of the Arabic Rahim, meaning "merciful" or "compassionate". Ar-Rahim is one of the 99 names of God in Islam, and the name is often given as Abdul Raheem, "servant of the Merciful". In the United States Raheem ranked number 916 in 2000, its only top 1000 year this century, and has since held a place in the 1000s, standing at number 1442 in 2025.
