Parth is the modern Hindi form of the Sanskrit Partha, meaning "son of Pritha"; Pritha is another name of Kunti, and Partha is the title by which Krishna addresses the hero Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita, so the name stands for Arjuna himself. It is a favorite among Indian American families, especially those with Gujarati or Marathi roots. In the United States Parth ranked number 1445 in 2000, its best year, and stood at number 2593 in 2025 with 51 boys.
